Fossilized Oyster Shell~Clyde Slide Soap Challenge

Are You Ready to see my Entry for the Contest? Well here you go!!

My Entry of "The Slide Clyde" Technique

I have decided to call this soap submission:
FOSSILIZED OYSTER SHELL SOAP

I have named my soap Fossilized Oyster Shell Soap Due to the Fact that it appears to have the "Look" of Actual Oyster Shells running all thru my soap batch. Yes, I even found several pictures online that helped me realize that this was indeed the BEST Name for my soap!! The Local Hutterite Clan here in North Dakota has within its lovely group, some teenagers that are in need of a special skin soap for their Acne and Blemished Faces. So I used a fantastic mixture of different additives some mentioned here are Seaweed Kelp, Rose Hip Oil, Vitamin Blend Vitaplex and a fantastic mixture of Theriputic Essential Oils specifically to help such skin issues. Their is no scent added except it does have a natural scent from the essential oils and a wonderful aroma of Lavender, Tea Tree and Peppermint.

Here is a quick look at whats inside the soap and is not exhaustive to protect my own personal Recipe, but this will give you an idea:

Tea Tree Oil~ provides generous amounts of terpinen, the active ingredient responsible for the oil’s amazing antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal abilities and anti-inflammatory properties. Tea Tree oil helps thwart any acne flare-ups before they get nasty.
Rosemary Essential Oil~ this often overlooked herb does wonders for revitalizing skin. It’s well known for its abilities to reduce excess oil on skin. Rosemary also contains anti-inflammatory properties known to ease redness and puffiness, which is perfect for treating breakouts. Besides helping to clear skin, rosemary also improves circulation, which can help firm and tone.
Lavender Essential Oil~ is commonly used as a burn salve and as a natural cleanser for skin cuts and abrasions as well. It contains properties that help accelerate the wound healing process. This means it may also help accelerate the healing of existing acne lesions.
Peppermint Essential Oil~ When applied on your skin, it de-congests the pores and gently cleans it. The cooling action of peppermint oil when applied on acne also helps soothe the irritation and itchiness that severe cases of acne can bring.
Echinacea Extract~ has been used for wounds and skin problems, such as acne or boils.
Rosehip Oil~ its use has been proven effective in repairing acne scars as well as other forms of scars and skin blemishes.  it may very well be useful in treating acne even if the sufferer is typically highly sensitive to products that may be oily. Many consider rosehip oil (or rosehip oil based products) to be better than commercial anti-acne products. Rosehip oil provides for a natural alternative to creams and ointments that may or may not be good for the skin.

Thanks to Amy Warden for this Fantastic Soap Challenge and I look Forward to Other Great Adventures Along the Way!!

UPDATE: I was a whole ONE MINUTE LATE on getting my soap entered into the contest so my soap never did actually get in. Nobody gets to vote on my soap and oh well, I just need to be faster on the draw next time. Saying that, this was fun to create this soap and I hope ALL that get a chance to see it will enjoy my description and appearance. It is still a fun read :-)
